Amoras Country House Hotel occupies a family mansion built in the early 20th century and is located in Proença a Nova. In a calm and relaxed atmosphere of the province, where it is pleasant to be, it is the perfect refuge to rest, regain strength and enjoy the tranquility of the Pinhal Interior region.
It was built from the Baptista Diniz family farm, in a mansion dating from 1905. In 2004 it was transformed into a hotel, which took advantage of the aforementioned house from which the main building was recovered and a new wing was added, with 33 rooms.

ROOMS
All rooms have an elegant, modern and comfortable decor, with a private bathroom equipped with a hairdryer and toiletries. They are equipped with air conditioning, a flat-screen TV and a minibar.
For us, all customers are important, and we have to be able to satisfy the needs of people with reduced mobility.
BREAKFAST
Served as a buffet, it has a wide variety of regional products, including jams, honey, cereals, homemade cakes, hot bread, juices and seasonal fruit.
Upon request, we serve the best scrambled eggs and an omelet with products from the garden.

Chef's Table
Privileged place for socializing with friends, at the chef's table next to the wood-fired oven, you can taste lamb and other regional delicacies.
Pool Bar | Pool
After a swim, there's nothing better than a trip to the Pool Bar to celebrate the occasion. You can choose several types of simple, nutritious and healthy meals. Our menus include salads, sandwiches, and various types of natural juices.
Then, let yourself be enchanted by our garden.
ACTIVITIES
It is a land of contrasts that we invite you to discover. To the north, the landscape is mountainous, with houses built on sunny slopes or nestled in deep valleys, with springs that flow abundantly in the rainy months and pine forests that keep their green even in the scorching heat; to the south, the vaster plains can already be seen, where formerly large crops were sown and where olive trees and rockrose still abound.
Proença offers a set of alternatives for those who enjoy adventure sports. Amoras is part of the Naturtejo Geopark, the first national geopark, which offers its guests walking trails, mountain biking trails, bird watching, canoeing. You can also stroll through the schist villages, dive on the river beaches and observe the surrounding nature.
The Restaurant Despensa-a-Nova - referenced by the Beira Interior Regional Wine Commission - is Amoras Country House Hotel's restaurant. It is open to general public and serves typical regional cuisine.
In each dish, we offer a bit of history and revive memories of other times, the result of the accumulated knowledge of the experiences of a family home in the province.
Schedule:
Closed Monday and Tuesday. From Wednesday and Friday by reservation only, minimum 10 pax.
Dinners: Wednesday to Sunday
Lunches: Saturday and Sunday
Before going up to the Despensa restaurant, this is the ideal place to celebrate life! Here, we make the evocation of wine.
Drinking and snacking are rituals, ways of living together, of celebrating. We bring you olive oil and cheese at the table, which can be goat or sheep, accompanied with jams.
